Religious Education (RE)
Our RE curriculum is designed to progressively develop children’s skills, knowledge and understanding of what people believe and what difference it makes to how they live. They need to ask fundamental questions in life, while considering world views and their own ideas, which lead to the development of their own spiritual knowledge, understanding and beliefs.

The most important thing about RE is that it will help us to know that there are many different cultures in the world, but despite the differences we find, there will also be many similarities in how we live our lives.
Parents have the legal right to withdraw their children from all RE lessons, specific parts of the syllabus, or collective worship. Parents may also withdraw their children from visits to places of worship. Requests should be made to the headteacher.
